Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

1- It should not be forgotten that the labels (information on the label) of the rolls must be kept by the user during the warranty period.
2- The film should only be removed from its sheath and opened before application.
3- While filming, the signs indicated on the greenhouse should be taken into consideration very carefully. The plastic cover should be removed early in the morning (before 10 o'clock) and on windless days.
4- It should not be forgotten that if the plastic cover is removed in warmer seasons, that is, spring, summer and autumn, according to winter conditions, excessive tension that may occur during the winter months will damage the plastic. For this reason, appropriate space should be left at the edges of the gutters, butt connections, and at the points of contact with the upper pipe, considering that there may be ruptures, cuts, and tears in the greenhouse cover due to excessive tension. It should be known that such damage is not caused by product quality but by workmanship errors in pulling the greenhouse cover. In order to avoid such damage outside the scope of warranty, due care and precision must be exercised when installing the greenhouse cover.
5- In AF-added films, the markings and markings on the film should be taken into consideration very carefully. - Covering of the films correctly (inside and outside) as indicated by the marks and markings on the film is very important to get the desired performance from the film. - The inner side refers to the inside of the greenhouse, the soil, and the outer side to the sky. Products with additives do not achieve the desired performance as a result of improper use. - It should not be forgotten that any irregularities that may occur on the surface of the greenhouse cover while pulling it and excessive tension on the greenhouse cover will negatively affect the release performance. - It is not recommended to use a greenhouse cover with amnesty additives in greenhouses with a bottom gutter height of less than 3 meters and without effective and sufficient ventilation (greenhouses without overhead ventilation, external fans and ventilators) - Depending on the construction feature, the type of plant, the irrigation regime, the weather, how the inner and outer nozzle greenhouse is heated. The useful life of the amnesty contribution is approximately 24 months under optimum conditions.

6- If the greenhouse cover will be used in metal greenhouses, Galvanized pipe should be preferred if possible. Before rolling the sera nylon, the parts of the film that come into contact with the iron must be painted with water-based acrylic paint over the nylon in order to reduce the damage that the heating in the metal will cause to the plastic.
7- Connecting materials such as wires, clips and profiles used during greenhouse film installation should be avoided from damaging the greenhouse film. If clips are used, a double layer of tape should be placed under the clips to prevent them from damaging the plastic.
8- Damages caused by materials that may cause physical deformation such as rough, rusty wood or knots on which the greenhouse cover is applied are not covered by the warranty.
9- During installation, hard, heavy and sharp mounting materials should not be placed on the film and the possibility that these may damage the greenhouse film should be kept in mind.
10- It is necessary to keep the heating tools away from the greenhouse film, as the vehicles used in heating the greenhouses may cause deformation and abrasion in the film due to direct contact with the film. 11- If shadow powder is used, shadow powders containing iron, aluminum or similar should not be selected. Purified shade powder should be selected so that the useful life of the Sera film exposed to shade dust is not reduced.
12- It is recommended to use PE greenhouse cover against any damage that may occur against the suction force created by the wind on the greenhouse. Precautions should be taken to prevent wear and tear that may occur as a result of the greenhouse cover fluctuating in the wind and hitting the construction.
13- Unless a different request is notified, it should not be forgotten that long-lasting agricultural films are not resistant to chemicals used in the greenhouse (containing sulfur, iron, chlorine) and the plastic cover exposed to chemicals may be subject to premature wear and tear.

14- It is important to use the appropriate greenhouse film (necessary additive) to obtain efficiency, taking into account the crop variety, growing conditions, regional conditions, climate and geographical features. You can get support from our Agricultural Engineers in determining the appropriate greenhouse film for your request.
15- Greenhouse repair tapes should be used for tears or punctures that occur during or after installation.
16- If our products are used within the framework of the application and usage recommendations stated above, they are guaranteed for the remaining period for manufacturing defects.

WARRANTY SCOPE IN AGRICULTURAL FILMS

1- For agricultural films, the warranty period begins with the date of the sales invoice issued by the dealer and the cooperative.
2- The warranty scope for PE agricultural films is defined as the protection of the plastic against harmful ultraviolet rays from the Sun within the recommended usage period. - Deterioration:  Agricultural film losing 50% or more of its tensile strength at the time of production is considered deterioration according to international standards. - The usage period warranty given by İmece Plastik is limited to premature deterioration due to UV (ultraviolet) rays within the specified period. - The warranty is only for premature deterioration of UV Rays. Deteriorations that may occur in the Greenhouse film due to the loss of UV properties of the Greenhouse film in contact with the Greenhouse construction exposed to high temperatures are not covered by the warranty. - The warranty period given by imece Plastik against sunlight is valid for 150 kly/year. 3- All damages determined to be caused by production are covered by İmece Plastik warranty.

SITUATIONS THAT ARE OUT OF THE SCOPE OF WARRANTY IN AGRICULTURAL FILM

Our products are guaranteed for the remaining period due to production-related errors if they comply with the specified storage application and usage conditions, but İmece Plastik is not held responsible for transportation, insurance, installation and other expenses that may occur regarding the products that are decided to be returned, and all damages and records that may occur as a result of damage to the greenhouse cover.
1- Warranty coverage on PE Agricultural film; It is defined as the protection of plastic against harmful ultraviolet rays from the sun within the recommended usage period. The usage period warranty given by İmece Plastik is limited to deterioration caused by UV (ultraviolet) rays within the specified period. Apart from this, the effectiveness of antifog (sweating feature), anti mist (SiS reduction feature), IR (Thermal barrier feature + Light Diffusing feature) anti dust (dust repellent feature) additives and their effective usage period are outside the scope of imece Plastik warranty.
2-  Damages that may occur as a result of receiving and using the product damaged during transportation are considered outside the scope of warranty.
3- Damages that may occur during the transportation of the product received by the end user in good condition are not covered by the warranty.
4- Damages that may occur as a result of contact with hard and rough surfaces while removing the product from its packaging are not covered by the warranty.
